Description
An SWR Double Tee, also commonly known as a Cross Tee, is a specialized uPVC fitting used to create multiple connections in SWR (Soil, Waste, and Rainwater) drainage systems. This fitting is shaped like a cross, with four outlets designed to join four pipes at right angles. Its main purpose is to connect a main pipeline with two branch lines that are positioned directly opposite each other, all while maintaining the flow through the main line.
This fitting is highly efficient for complex plumbing layouts, such as connecting waste lines from two different bathrooms on either side of a shared wall to a single vertical stack. By providing a single point of connection for two branches, it simplifies the plumbing network, reduces the number of fittings required, and streamlines the installation process. SWR Double Tees are available in both ring-type (push-fit) and pasted-type (solvent weld) versions, offering flexibility to suit various installation requirements.
